I knew there would be days like this

How do you get through days like today? Days when not a single hour goes by that you don't have at least one, but sometimes two children attached to your breast for at least part of the hour. Days when just as Peachfuzz falls asleep, Little Man wakes up, which in turn wakes Peachfuzz up and she can't fall back asleep no matter how hard she tries. Days when Mama doesn't get to nap either, which makes her extremely tired and with a little less patience than she would normally have. Days when Peachfuzz gets well past the point of over-tired and has "The World's Biggest Meltdown" over dinner (or at least, the biggest meltdown she's had in her life so far). Days when you don't have time to pee, let alone eat a proper meal. How do you cope?

1) Cry on Papa Bear's shoulder when he gets home from work.
2) Order take-away, because even the simple meal you had planned is far too much work
3) Have a hot shower as soon as Peachfuzz is in bed, in the 10 minutes before Little Man wakes up wanting to eat again
4) Snuggle up in warm, cozy pyjamas
5) Eat one of the best vegan brownies ever
6) Remember how blessed you are to love and nurture these two precious children, who are so, so beautiful... especially when they're asleep

I totally understand!! I feel the exact same way. Today was a good day - Kadence started Mother's Day Out. She will go twice a week so that Kaison and I can have a little more bonding time.
And cooking is overrated!! Especially with two kids. I have done very little of it the last five weeks.
But we have gotten in lots of cuddling, staying in our pj's, and reading books!! That is what really counts!!
